Crappity Crap Crap
Well, at least it's an update. :D
I took time off NotBlog so I could work on creating an actual comic. I drew one strip and decided to keep doing NotBlog.
However I've changed computers, so all my palettes, dimensions, brushes and fonts need to be rediscovered. NotBlog should be back to a more regular format next time.
(Next time will be soon, I have all of summer off work. I am not sure if this is good or bad.)

It's bad enough going to work and having everyone go "Ooh, you're BURNT."
Really there's not much to write about sunburn. Uh... I got my hair bleached, and it went bright orange. So I kinda match my sunburn in a really awful, clashy way. MY HAIR IS AWESOME THOUGH.
I made my boyfriend get a haircut and he looks awesome too. It is a time to be awesome, except for the ridiculous burn lines on my arms and neck.
I bought new Doc Marten boots and they are just beginning to not hurt. w00t

My boyfriend's family got a new puppy. It's a Maltese, and about the size of my foot. I don't think anyone would be real impressed if they came to the shop and found him making their coffee, though.
So I've given in and hosted with Blogger. Does this mean it is no longer a NotBlog? I don't know. Hopefully a kind person will give me some REAL webspace soon and I can get on with feeling terribly indie again.
Seriously, this place is giving off Emo vibes. I feel like sitting at the mall with a bunch of people dressed in black shorts and terrible band t-shirts and talking about hardcore poetry.

For those Americans reading, a lamington is a cube of vanilla-flavoured sponge cake (about 3 or 4 inches cubed) covered in a chocolate glaze/icing and then rolled in dessicated coconut. They rock. There's some in my kitchen right now.
The problem with Americans who come into my cafe (and there are a ton on campus) is that my partner generally does not understand what they're asking for, and I, being the American Translation expert, have to intercept and explain that it's a bottle of lemonade they're asking the price of, not soda water, because we don't stock "soda".

I hope people will understand, but judging by the Top 40 music charts and the popularity of Vesna on Big Brother (also the recurring existence of Big Brother), people don't know much at all these days and are pretty shitty at most everything.
I am pretty shitty at drawing with this Wacom dealy.
The moral of the day: Sitting in on your friend's Physics lecture (when all you do at University is make the coffee) makes you seem almost as dumb as Vesna.
